This year a resident at Tal-Ibwar was given the opportunity to volunteer at our little coffee shop with a big 
as part of the rehab programme that he is currently undergoing. He loved it so much that he decided to stay on longer than he was expected to, much to our delight. It’s always a pleasure to have him here with us as part of our team. What I find so heartwarming is that after each and every shift he hugs me and tells me thank you for inspiring him before he goes back once again to the residence. Well I have to say that I have been equally inspired, if not more, by him. I admire his perseverance to overcome the challenges that he faces, his ambitions for the future and his ability to look ahead to a better life!
